Description
The Associate Program Director assists the Program Director in managing the delivery of services to clients with the ultimate objective of assisting clients in achieving independent living. In the absence of the Program Director, the Associate Program Director assumes the responsibilities of that position.
 
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
 
The position requires a Master’s Degree in a related field and five years of relevant experience including two years in a supervisory capacity, managing shifts and implementing programs.
 
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Oversees the program’s Assessment and Diversion Unit
  2. Provides supervision to program staff such as Assessment, Housing and Benefits
  3. Supervises activities that lead to immediate diversion and expedited placement within required time frame
  4. Ensures the completion of assessments within the required timeframe and diversion targets are met
  5. Gather and analyze program data
  6. Refer clients to the appropriate service providers
  7. Perform quality assurance activities related to auditing client charts and electronic records database use
  8. Monitor staff to ensure clients are achieving deliverables and timely services
  9. Perform other related tasks as assigned
EFFECT ON END RESULTS:
  1. Clients are returned to permanent housing as quickly as possible
  2. Program clients are provided with high quality, cost-effective services
  3. Clients are provided with necessary support services to sustain independent living
  4. Clients are properly assessed for appropriate service options
  5. Program will achieve funder and agency targets
  6. Related duties are performed accurately and on time
