The Clinician – PT Hourly is is responsible for providing assessments and other related services to the service recipients in accordance with Volunteers of America policies and procedures, program models, funding source standards, and evidence-based practices. Bi-lingual preferred.
The position requires a master’s degree in social work or other related field, with a State of New Jersey professional clinical license (LCSW, LCADC, LPC, LSW, LAC, RN). If the staff member has a LSW, LAC or RN, they will need to be supervised by someone who is clinically licensed. In addition, two (2) years experience providing family services or behavioral treatment services is required.
- Contact the service recipient/family within twenty-four (24) hours of the referral to arrange a date and time to conduct the needs assessment.
- Meet with the service recipient within the approved authorization date of the referral and conduct a needs assessment.
- Complete the needs assessment documentation and submit to supervisor within the approved authorization date.
- Perform other related tasks as assigned.
